In 1971 Bill created a full sized replica of the Lunar Lander for two reasons, he needed an extra room for his growing family near their one room schoolhouse in Brougham Ontario, and secondly to create a monument to the new age of space exploration. This piece was later purchased by the Japanese as part of the Great Space Shuttle Exhibit of 1983, and traveled through five cities in Japan. The Lander was later donated to and is currently on display at  the Oklahoma Aviation and Space hall of Fame.
